BRIEF BACKGROUND
Trust Manufacturers T/a Jackson Pools was formed in 2003. The proprietors of the company also operate Jackson Munyeza Pools & Construction (Pvt) Ltd. which has been in operation in Zimbabwe since 1966 and is a household name controlling about 85% of the market.
The company is involved in swimming pool construction, repairs and maintenance. Situated in the International Commerce Park, Jackson Pools Botswana has an office and pool shop there. Three divisions are in operation, namely:
i. Swimming Pool Construction & Renovation
ii. Repairs and Maintenance Division
iii. Retail Division managed through the shop
1. CLIENTELLE
In Botswana, the company has grown steadily over the past years and has enjoyed great success in the pool industry because of its expertise and high quality service delivery. Consequently, our clients are drawn from a wide spectrum of the economy. We have done work for a number of clients namely:

2. SUPPLIERS
Our suppliers are South African manufacturers and importers. We only use the best quality of the products in all our projects. Jackson Pools is the country agent for SPECK PUMP SOUTH AFRICA and POWER PLASTICS .Speck pump SA is the leading manufacturer of German model pool pumps and accessories and the most sort after pool pump in the pool industry worldwide. Power Plastics is the leading Cape Town based manufacturer of pool covers in Africa and exports as far as Australia. To be their agent in Botswana is a great opportunity.
Through Jackson – Munyeza Pools in Zimbabwe plans are underway to set up a manufacturing plant with a Chinese Swimming Pool Manufacturing company as a Technical Partner in the next 5yeras.This will boost our capabilities.
3. COMPETITION
The pool industry in Botswana is growing .Currently there are about 3 pool companies listed in the phone directory. Of the 7, the most visible ones are ourselves, Suncroft Pools and Oasis pools. Our competitive advantage is that we are offer excellent aftersales service and maintenance contracts. The backup from our associate company Jackson Munyeza Pools in Zimbabwe gives us an added advantage.
4. FUTURE
We intend to open a branch in Francistown in the second quarter of next year. The branch will serve our clients in the northern parts of the country and the tourism industry as well as exporters to Zimbabwe and Zambia.
5. MANAGEMENT
The company is under the management of the Directors who include Vincent Munyeza as the Managing Director. Vincent holds degree in Purchasing and Supply and has been in the pool industry for the past 12 years most of which leaning the ropes from his father Fredrick Munyeza who founded the company in 1966 together with the late Mr Jackson hence the name Jackson – Munyeza Pools in Zimbabwe. Vincent is a Certified Pool Operator and trainer (CPO)®, (CPI)®.This is awarded by the Australian Association Of Pool Operators in conjunction with the American Pool Industry Institute. Edgar Nyabadza (CPO)® is the Chief Operating Officer for Botswana having been with Jackson-Munyeza Pools & Construction P/L since 1998. Edgar holds a Higher National Diploma in Finance and Administration.
